We stopped in the village of Askrigg, where the popular TV series "All Creatures Great & Small" village of Darrowby was filmed. That's me standing in front of the building facade they used. The three of us had dinner in a quiet dining room of a local restaurant, which had a bar called the "Herriot Bar". I had steak pie, David roasted chicken and Abby, fresh tomato soup! Delicious!
